T71/880: handwritten note bound into the front of T71/880, dated 'Grenada 7th April 1835', from G. Middlemore (Lt-Governor), W. Darnell Davis (Attorney General), Owsley Rowley, Matt. Davies and Felix Palmer (the latter three presumably Assitant Commissioners), states of this claim: 'It appears from the Valuers Returns that the Slaves mentioned in this claim were in possession of Charles De Bellot as Executor whereas they were by him given over to Eliza Burke as heiress at law and by her returned to the Registrar as in her possession on the 31st July 1834'.
