Joseph Sturge and Thomas Harvey, The West Indies in 1837 (London, Hamilton, Adams, & Co., 1838) p. 208 (& xliv): general complaint that apprentices 'not only daily defrauded of their time, but were frequently mulcted of their Saturdays. The whole of the people on the Windsor estate, had been fined three Saturdays, for not turning out early in the morning, which, they said, was a false accusation.' No ownership information.
