T71/858: claim by John Ashley, of Great Britain, as owner-in-fee. Counterclaim by Stephana Biscoe, George Law and Rev. William Biscoe, for a 'mortgage under Indenture dated 20 July 1819' of £7,000 sterling. [The latter three were executors of Joseph Seymour Biscoe, although not described a such in the compensation records, and Biscoe died 05/05/1835 so this connection may be a bit late].
