Francesco Bartolozzi's print of Madona of 1769 now in the British Museum was based on a picture of Carlo Dolci owned by Clotworthy Upton, and is inscribed: "Carlo Dolci pincs: / J. Boydell exudi 1769 / F. Bartolozzi del. sculp . / MADONA. / From the Orig:l Picture of the same / size painted by Carlo Dolci / In the Collection of / Clothworthy Upton Esq.r / Vol. 11 N.o 54 / Published Nov.r 1st 1769 by Boydell Engraver in Cheapside"
