'Hope nursing Love', painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds c. 1769, exhibited at the inaugural exhibition of the Royal Academy in 1769. The model, 'Miss Morris', was the daughter of Valentine Morris. Three 'repetitions' of the painting were made, as well as an engraving by Edward Fisher in 1771, which the British Museum holds.
