In the 1817 and 1821 almanacs John Donnan is listed as owning an estate named Ayr Mount. In 1823 it is listed as Ayr Mount and Mount Donnan. Afterwards as just Mount Donnan. It is not clear whether these were two separate estates, were merged in the 1820s or else renamed.
