Joseph Marryat and Sir Charles Rugge Price developed the pre-existing Ynys-Cedwyn Ironworks in the Swansea Valley and floated ii in 1864. It was subject to sequential liquidations and restructurings in 1869, 1870, 1877 and 1881. Production ceased only in 1941. It is now a park, a monument to Britain's industrial past. |

English clergyman, resident in Jamaica from 1827 but returning to England with his Jamaican-born wife and children six years later.
