Garfit, Claypon ('The Boston Bank')

Predecessor firm of Lloyds Bank, having been bought by Capital & Counties in 1891. Bartholomew Claypon had an earlier banking business with Henry Cole of Peterborough under Clayton & Cole dissolved in 1795.
