Robert Edie was shown as of the firm of Edie, Laird and Edie on his bankruptcy in 1824. The firm appears to have been a continuation of Edie & Laird, a partnership of Arthur Edie and James Laird (whose will, of Blackness, was made in 1795 and proved in 1799). |
