Farmer, inherited a shared ownership of enslaved persons in Port Royal, Jamaica, through the family of his wife Mary Breakenridge (q.v.).
"John Breakenridge Farmer Killeonan[?] and Mary Breakenridge daughter of the deceased John Breakenridge late Merct. Campbeltown, both of this Parish, married 8th July [1816]."
Not to be confused with Mary’s brother John, as the petition of Charles Harvey indicates his claim was through his wife Mary.
