Thomas Renny Strachan, husband of Harriet Strachan née Moyes (q.v.), owner of 2 estates in St David, Jamaica, and extensive landholdings in Forfar, Scotland. His compensation was awarded to his trustees and executors, Thomas McKenzie and John Gordon (both q.v.).

  1. Oct 20, 1823 "[Death] At Seatown near Arbroath, Thomas Renny Strachan, Esq. of Tarrie."

  2. Husband of Harriet Strachan née Moyes, entailed his estate in 1812, left in trust to John Rennie-Strachan-Carnegie (q.v.). "JOHN RENNY-STRACHAN-CARNEGIE, Esq. of Tarrie, Angus, second son of the late Sir David Carnegie of Kinnaird, Bart., succeeded to the estates of Tarrie and Seaton, on the demise of the life-renter Mrs. Renny-Strachan, by testamentary deed of gift of Thomas Renny-Strachan, Esq., who died 20th October, 1823, without issue."
