Sir Robert Charles Dallas 2nd Bart.

With his first cousin Robert William Dallas (q.v.), awarded half the compensation for the Mount Craven [=Mountraven?] estate in Grenada.  

  1. Son of Sir George Dallas, political writer (and, briefly, MP for Newport, Isle of Wight, 1800-1802) and Margaret Catherine Blackwood. First cousin of Robert William Dallas (q.v., their fathers were brothers), and brother of Henrietta Dallas (q.v.). Married Hon. Frances Henrietta Law, daughter of Edward Law, 1st Baron Ellenborough and Anne Towry, on 29 September 1841 at St. Mary's Church, Bryanston Square, Marylebone, London. Died at 65 [in fact, 55] Montagu Square, London.

  2. Sir Robert Charles Dallas bart formerly of Gloucester Place but late of 55 Montagu Square who died 01/08/1874 at 55 Montagu Square proved 24/10/1874 by Frances Henrietta Dallas widow, relict the sole executrix, effects under £7000.
