Of Pinmore, Ayr Scotland by the 1830s, awarded the compensation as mortgagee-in-possession of the Hunterstown estate in Manchester, and (with James Reay, q.v.) as trustees of Alexander Hamilton Cameron for Mango Valley Plantation in St Mary.

  1. Son of John Hamiton of Sundrum; brother of John Hamilton (q.v.); and nephew of Hugh Hamilton of Pinmore Scotland, from whom he inherited the Belleisle estate in Ayr.
