Slave-owner in Jamaica, owner of an estate named as The Alps in the Slave Registers, and also possibly the owner of Florence Hall, for which the compensation for the enslaved people attached to it was paid to mortgagees. She appears to have brought some of this 'property' into her marriage with Charles Campbell (q.v.) for whom The Alps and Florence Hall were shown in right of his wife for some years in the 1820s.
