Biography

Edward Darvall, of Boulogne, unsuccessful counterclaimant for Holly & Savannah estate in Antigua in right of his wife Emily nee Johnson (q.v.), an annuitant under the will of Godschall Johnson.

  1. Emily was the daughter of Godshall Johnson (1745-1800) and his first wife Elizabeth nee Hodges. Emily eloped with Captain Edward Darvall in 1805 at the age of 16. The couple went on to have 7 children. They emigrated to Australia in 1839.
