Thomas James Alexander Brown Fairbairn (q.v.) appears as claimant for part of the compensation on the Dunfermline estate on Grenada 'under the will of Thomas Fairbairn.' It is known that T.J.A.B. Fairbairn was the son of Thomas Fairbairn of St Vincent, implying that the Thomas Fairbairn appearing in the Grenada claim is the same man as the man LBS currently has as 'Thomas Fairbairn of St Vincent.'
