Sarah Goulburn

Widow of Henry Goulburn, a planter in Jamaica in the 1750s and 1760s. Administered Amity Hall estate in Vere on behalf of her nephew Munbee Goulburn following the deaths in 1765 of her husband Henry and brother-in-law Edward. In her will proved 22/11/1803 she rehearsed an indenture of 1779 under which she and Munbee Goulburn had raised £2000 against Amity Hall for the benefit of Henry Booth Blinshall (since deceased).

Mrs Sarah Gouldbourne [sic] contributed £15 to the University of Pennsylvania following Dr John Morgan's fundraising tour of the West Indies in 1772-1773.
