Executor and heir of James Ferguson (q.v.), from whom he inherited Clifden in Westmoreland Jamaica and the enslaved people attached to it. He died between 1832 and 1834, ahead of the compensation process: the bulk of the compensation for the enslaved people on Clifden was paid to Peter Ferguson's executor Samuel Spence jun.
