Hon. James Athill

Owner of an as yet unidentified estate on Antigua. Father of Samuel Byam Athill, James Athill the Chief Justice (both of whom q.v.) and Anne, who married 25/09/1788 Sir Richard Hussey Bickerton, who has an entry in the ODNB as 'naval officer' and who had been posted to Antigua, and who was MP for Poole 1808-1812.
