James Austin of St Ann, Jamaica.

All I die possessed of both real and personal to my dearly beloved son William Hazledine Austin subject to an annuity of of £100 sterling to my dear mother for her natural life.

My friends Thomas Jobson and John Higginbottom Esquires of St Ann, William Hazledine and his son John Hazledine Esquires of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, England, and Dr Samuel Betton of German Town in Pennsylvannia to be my executors.

Signed 24/01/1827.

Codicil dated 25/08/1829. To Miss Frances Harvey a free person of colour the house and lot of land situated at St Anns Bay and also a negro woman named Polly for and during her natural life and then to return to my son William Hazeldine.

Proved in London 22/01/1834 by the oath of William Hazledine. Proved in London 29/12/1836 by the oath of John Hazledine.
