Biography

Merchant of Kingston, partner of Colin Campbell of Kingston and Sloane Street (q.v.). Also in business with Achilles Onffroy (q.v.). His executor was Henry O'Hara (q.v.).

  1. John O'Hara had at least five children with Susanna Napier, "free mulatto", who were baptised in Kingston between 1801 and 1808. One of these children was Rebecca, born 1802 and baptised 1803, who is likely to be the Rebecca Whitby nee O'Hara who married John Parnther (q.v.) in London in 1851.
