Widow of Duncan Anderson (d. 1796), who left her an annuity of £500 p/a secured on his estates. Remarried 1803 to William Carter, who later went bankrupt. The case Anderson v. Carter was over her claim to the annuity. She had four children with Duncan Anderson born in St James, Jamaica, 1789-1796, including Robert and John who successively inherited the Jamaica property.
