Biography

Tentatively identified at John Williams, "free person", who owned 51 enslaved people and 150 stock in St Ann in 1792. John Williams appears as one of the eleven natural children, "free quadroons", of John Williams of St Ann in an Act of the Jamaican House of Assembly 27/11/1777 giving the children some of the rights of white people.
