Sir John Willes

Biography

Judge, MP for Launceston, Weymouth and Melcombe Regis and West Looe between 1724 and 1737. He inherited a moiety of Blubber Valley as beneficiary of a trust under the will of Robert Pearne (proved 04/04/1757): it is not clear what the connection between the two men was.
