Biography

Owner of Prospect estate in Berbice in 1818, then co-owner with B.T. Claxton in 1825. Probably connected with the Jeffery family of Hunstpill, Somerset: the remains of Francis Jeffery, son of Francis Jeffery of Huntspill, were reburied in 1816 at Huntspill after his death in Berbice aged 36 in 1813.
