Biography

Son of Rowland Otto Baijer (1726-1762), and father of Samuel Otto Baijer (q.v.). Sold Vaughans to James Donovan (q.v). in 1785. Will proved in 1805: a Rowland Otto Bayer was buried at Hurst, Berkshire on 01/04/1802 and a second man of the same name reportedly died at Verdun in 1805.

  1. Will of Rowland Otto Bayer of Old Bond Street [made in 1799] proved 19/12/1805. Under the will he left £3000 to his daughter Maria and his estates and people to his son Samuel Otto Baijer, then to his daughter Maria and then to the children of his sister Catherine, wife of Zachary Bayly Edwards.
