James Cruikshank the elder of Langley Park (q.v.) entailed the Scottish estate on James Cruikshank the younger, while the latter's brother Patrick received the 'slave-property' on St Vincent. The younger James married into the Scottish aristocracy but was insolvent at the time of his death.
