Slave-owner in Jamaica, owner of Carisbrooke or Carrisbrook in St Elizabeth, dead by 1780.

  1. Collecting Constable in St Elizabeth in 1766.

  2. Sampson Delaroch of St Elizabeth, Esquire. Estate probated in Jamaica in 1777. Slave-ownership at probate: 61 of whom 30 were listed as male and 31 as female. 13 were listed as boys, girls or children. Total value of estate at probate: £9116.14 Jamaican currency of which £3875 currency was the value of enslaved people. Estate valuation included £152.88 currency cash, £2216.1 currency debts and £20 currency plate.

  3. Sampson Delaroche's only daughter and heir married 28/12/1785 George Rolph the younger of Thornbury in Gloucestershire.
