???? - 1810
Resident slave-owner in Barbados, dying c. 1810.
Will of Charles Kyd of St Peter Barbados proved 14/07/1810. Under the will [made in 1806] he left monetary legacies to grandchildren, including Charles Kyd Bishop (q.v.), and his estate of Sixmens to his daughter, Elizabeth Maclean.
In a List of inhabitants of St Peter, Barbados, 1780, Charles Kyd was listed as owning 128 enslaved. This was probably the same man and estate as Charles Kyd who left the Six Mens estate in St Peters.
