Wilson and Polander were listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owners of 1279 acres of land in St James. This may refer to Edward Willson, Elizabeth Willson, Alexander Wilson, Edward Wilson, Godfrey Wilson, John Wilson or Richard Wilson (all q.v.). Polander may be the heirs of Joseph Polander, the Kingston merchant whose estate was probated in Jamaica in 1753.
