Sarah Keir registered enslaved people in Kingston in 1823 as trustee of Frances Molony and Mary Ann Dewhurst, received by gift from Elizabeth Keir.
Francis Molony, son of Elizabeth Keir, a "free quadroon", and David Patrick Molony Esquire, baptised in Kingston 18/11/1818 aged about 21 months. Mary Ann Dewhurst, daughter of Elizabeth Keir, a "free quadroon", and John Dewhurst, born 13/05/1812 and baptised 12/09/1813 in Kingston.
Sarah and Elizabeth Keir were probably sisters. Elizabeth Keir (born 26/12/1784 and baptised 05/03/1785 in Kingston) and Sarah Keir (born 17/01/1787 and baptised 09/07/1787 in Kingston) were both the daughters of Charlotte Nimms, a "free mulatto woman" and George Keir.
