William Molesworth

1732 - 1762


Biography

Eldest son of Sir John Molesworth 2nd Baronet. Predeceased his father. Spring Garden estate in Jamaica was shown in the ownership of Sir John Molesworth and his son William 1740-1743. William may have been the joint owner, or perhaps managed the property for his father.

Sir John and William Molesworth were listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owners of 3269 acres of land in St Dorothy.
