Merchant of Kingston. Connected to Dominic, Ignatius and Andrew Duany (both q.v.). No entry in the probate inventories.

"James Duany was probably born in Ireland. He settled in Jamaica in the late 1600s. He married and had four sons, Ambrose, Edmund, Andrew and Dominick. The name is also spelled Duhaney. Includes Codrington, Hall, McIntosh and related families."
