Co-purchaser with her brother Samuel Duer and brother-in-law George Rose (q.v.) of two estates with the enslaved people attached to them in Dominica in 1773. In her will proved in 1811 she makes no reference to these estates, in which the Duer family share appears have been acquired by Rawson Aislabie, originally a creditor. She left £400, part of a legacy to her from her uncle William Frye, to her brother-in-law George Rose in recognition of the 'friendship and kindness so largely received from him' by her sister Theodora.
