Biography
Co-heiress of Hon. John Perry (q.v.).
- Will of Ann Perry spinster of Montego Bay [made in 1808] proved 27/05/1812. She left in trust (one of her trustees was her brother William Perry jun. of Churchill Somerset) £1000 for her 'dear little protegee' Anna Maria Lansdown, daughter of John Hyde Lansdown of Montego Bay. She left a further £1000 in trust to be used to buy consols for her cousins Sarah Ann Haywood and Marianne Haywood to be paid to her aunt Mrs Elizabeth Haywood [later in the will given as Heywood] of Bideford in Devon. Among further monetary legacies she left £100 to her aunt Mrs Elizabeth Charlotte Perry wife of her uncle William Perry sen. 'To my uncle William Perry sen. I give, devise and bequeath my negro slave called Johnson to wait on him and my aunt during their resident in this island. He is then to return to the estate or wherever his brothers are, but if he behaves so ill they cannot keep him they may return him to the estate and receive hire.' Her residuary legatees were her mother, her brother William jun. and her sister Marianne.
