Sister and heir at law of her brother William Bowles of Nevis, whose estate known as Ham Lodge formerly Willets she and her husband Joseph Coates sold to Edward Brazier in 1783. In the will of her husband, Joseph Coates wine merchant of Bristol proved 15/02/1786, he instructed his executors to pursue the money owed to him by Edward Brazier if it had not been paid to him by his death (much of the remainder of the will dealt with the transmission of the wine business in Bristol to his wife and his existing partner, his son Thomas). No will nor death-date has been found for her to date. She was apparently dead by the time her son Thomas made his will (proved in 1806) in 1802.
