Biography

  1. Rebecca Mary Bernard, daughter of David and Judith Bernard, was born 09/05/1795 and baptised 30/07/1796 in St James, Jamaica.

  2. Her brother-in-law John Parnther (married to her eldest sister Frances) registered enslaved people in St James as her guardian in 1817.

  3. Rebecca Mary Bernard, age 31, was buried in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire (the home of her sister Mary Bonella Hall) 16/01/1827. The will of Rebecca Mary Bernard, spinster of Upper Bedford Place, Russell Square, Middlesex, was written in 1823 and proved in 1827.
