Biography

Possibly James Oswald (2 May 1779 – 3 June 1853), co-founder in 1812 of Oswald, Stevenson & Co. and later MP for Glasgow (1832-1837), then the Chiltern Hundreds (1837-1847). Died in 1853 at Edinburgh and buried in Glasgow Cathedral.
