  1. James Newman of Great St Helens Bishopsgate Street was also Administrator of Louis Duncan Casamajor, formerly of Christ College Oxford but late Minister Plenipotentiary at the Court of St Petersburgh in Russia.

Counterclaim from James Newman of St Helens Place, London merchant, sole executor of Justinian Casamajor [merchant of London T71/1220] 'who was surviving trustee of a Term of 500 years for securing several annuities - for arrears of subsisting and determined annuities £1663 7s 3d. And annuities now subsisting which together with the factorage now amount to £387 3s 9d per annum.' The annuitants were legatees of Matthew Christian under a will of 1777.
