Biography

Will of William Robin of Trinidad proved 04/08/1837 (made 10/05/1835). The will is prefaced by a letter to his daughter Jeanette Rose Robin Cardon de Sundran or Sondran (q.v., under de Sundran), to whom he left his property in Port of Spain. He ordered the freeing of all his slaves (although what that meant in Apprenticeship is unclear). William Robin had been born in France (near Lyons).
