Elizabeth Hinds Trotman, Barbados-born eldest daughter of General Thomas Williams of Welchman's Hall, St Thomas, and Woburn, St George, and his wife Elizabeth Prescod Hinds, and widow of John Trotman of Wilcox, Christ Church. Sister of Malvina Williams and Margaret Williams (both q.v.).
Christened at St Thomas, Barbados, 1782; married John Trotman of Wilcox at St Thomas, 29/01/1801 (she was his second wife). Four children were born to this couple: John (born in St Pancras, London, 20/08/1803); Thomas Williams (born 31/07/1809 and bapised at Christ Church, 01/01/1812, who died of typhus in Italy in 1869 where he practised medicine); Elizabeth Prescod Williams (who married Thomas Trotman (q.v.), son of Thomas Clarke Trotman (q.v.)); Margaret Williams (born 15/03/1814). John Trotman of Wilcox, son of Henry Trotman of Valley and Hill plantations, was buried at St Michael, 10/12/1815.
Residuary legatee of General Thomas Williams, with her two sisters, of Woburn in St George's, in 1826.
Died in Barbados aged c.84.
