Pringle Taylor

Awarded the compensation as one of the trustees of Ward Cagdogan for the enslaved people on Harrow, Crab Hill and Pickering in Barbados.  

1. Joseph Pringle Taylor married Adelaide Frances Shedden, a minor, the daughter of John Shedden (q.v.), at St Marylebone 12/07/1827. Will of Pringle Taylor K.H. General in HM's Army who died at Pennington House near Lymington Hampshire 05/04/1884 proved 14/05/1884 by Adelaide Frances Taylor widow, effects £1336 1s 7d.

2. Pennington House may have been bought by John Shedden for his daughter Adelaide on her marriage to Major General Pringle Taylor.
