Biography

Wife of William Dutton Turner (q.v.). Probably inherited ownership of enslaved persons in Clarendon, Jamaica from her own family.

  1. William Dutton Turner and his wife Mary née Trench had three children in St Catherine, Jamaica: William George baptised 09/12/1844; Mary Mackeson baptised 08/08/1849 and Frederick Stewart baptised 05/12/1850. They were married in Clarendon, Jamaica, 27/04/1835. Mary was born 09/07/1815 in Clarendon, the daughter of William Power Trench and Janet nee Stewart.
