Biography

Rev. John Massy-Dawson, second son of James Hewitt Massy-Dawson (q.v.), inherited a share of Pembroke Hall and Prospect Pen estates in Jamaica from his mother Eliza Jane Dennis.

  1. Born 30/12/1806 in Marylebone, Middlesex, to James Hewitt Massy-Dawson and Eliza Jane Dennis.  Inherited substantial estates in Ireland following the death of his elder brother Capt. James Massy-Dawson (q.v.) in 1837. Recorded as a landowner in Tipperary, Ireland in the 1850s.
