No Dates
One of the illegitimate children of Ann Whyte, "a free Sambo woman". With her mother and siblings, Janet owned enslaved people in St Thomas-in-the-East, although Robert Edmiston senior Esquire (presumably her father) held the life interest. No baptism has been found for Janet, though six of her siblings were born between 1802 and 1818.
