Biography

Probably the Jeremiah Carter of 57 Coleman Street variously described in the London Gazette of the late 1820s and early 1830s as warehouseman or blanket-manufacturer who was summonsed (as Woollen-Warehouseman, Dealer and Chapman) for bankruptcy in March 1835. P. H. Abbott was appointed as the Official Assignee.

Jeremiah Carter and P.H. Abbott acted together with Charles William Hick (q.v.) as the assignees of Edward Gale Boldero, exectuor of Henry Bolder.
