Griffin Bascom

Feb. 4 [1840] Griffin Bascom late of Demerara married Henrietta Louisa third daughter of John Reynolds of Knowle Green, Staines. The marriage record gives him as of 12 Claremont Place Pentonville and his father as James Thos. Bascom.

Inscription at St Thomas Barbados, 'Sacred | to the memory or | GRIFFIN BASCOM Esquire | late of DEMERARA | WHO DIED IN THIS ISLAND | THE 9th JUNE 1852 | AGED 62 YEAR.'
