This Relationship |
Grandson → Grandfather
Notes →
This relationship has been inferred by LBS, from the entailing of an estate and enslaved people in the will of the Rev. John Hotchkin in his will proved 1745 and its possession by Ralph Hotchkin at his death in 1818. Ralph Hotchkin d. 1818 appears to have been the son of Ralph Hotchkin, son of John Hotchkin clerk, apprenticed in London in 1739: a son Ralph was baptised in Farringdon in 1748. To date, however, the Hotchkin family has not been fully analysed by LBS. |
