T71/874: claim from Ann Jarrett Lawson, Francis Janvrin and William Rhodes James, as 'Executrix and executors of James Lawson'. Ann Schaw counterclaimed as 'tenant for life of a rent charge of £400 per annum'.

T71/242: enslaved persons were registered in 1832 by Wm. Marrett, of W. Miller and Wm. Marrett, attorneys of the heirs of James Lawson.
