T71/887: claim by J., T. and A. Douglas & co., as owners. Counterclaim from J.A. Bischof, referring to an act of donation of 15 enslaved persons dated 09/11/1820. Denied by the claimant. The award was made to the trustees (transfer and trust deed) John Douglas, of Glasgow, a merchant, and J.B. Moens, of Bishopsgate St., London, a merchant, to pay the interest to J.A. Bischof, the tenant for life, and after his death to pay the amount to the parties entitled.
